
Often, I have the problem that the buttons of the Ubuntu Mate Network Manager to edit or delete network entries are disabled. This means the current user - even if I am root - do not have permissions.
This is a long existing bug, but easy to fix: just start the network connection manager with sudo!
1sudo nm-connection-editor
Now the buttons are enabled and you can delete or edit your connections :-)
